Squid Game star Park Sung-hoon has issued an apology for an accidental NSFW post

 Seoul, South Korea - Park Sung-hoon, the emerging star of the Netflix series "Squid Game," has publicly apologized after mistakenly sharing the cover of a Japanese adult video on his Instagram Story on December 30, 2024.

The incident stirred controversy among fans and attracted criticism from various members of the public. Park Sung-hoon's agency, BH Entertainment, issued a statement clarifying that the actor "received the image through direct message" and "accidentally posted it by hitting the wrong button."

On January 8, 2025, Park Sung-hoon offered a personal apology, expressing his sincere regret for the incident and recognizing the disruption it caused for the "Squid Game" team. He mentioned that he was reflecting on his actions and promised to be more careful in the future.

In the second season of "Squid Game," which debuted on Netflix on December 26, 2024, Park Sung-hoon portrays a transgender woman.
